A New York Times Bestseller, One Thousand Gifts, is changing lives.  But author Ann Voskamp will be the first to say that it is the power of living out God’s word that does the transforming. The book invites her readers to join her on a journey in search of joy, “a dare to live fully right where you are”.  Her unique writing style paints a beautiful picture that you cannot help but enter. Through discovering the habit of thankfulness, her life has been forever changed and has become an inspiration to many. If you dare to live this one life well this book is for you.

One Thousand Gifts has personally become a favorite. It has challenged me to consider trials joy, hunger for deep intimacy with God, and allow joy to penetrate the cracked and dry places of my heart. Although, more than anything it has encouraged me to live fully within my present circumstances. A friend handed me this book during a season of bitterness and apathy. It drove me to find God in the difficult places. My hope is that the book, conversation, or habit of thankfulness will be transforming to you as well.
